Running since 1924, the triennial World Energy Congress is the World Energy Council’s global flagship event that enables dialogue among Ministers, CEOs and industry experts on critical developments in the energy sector. The 24th edition of the World Energy Congress will take place in Abu Dhabi from 9-12 September 2019 at ADNEC.

The session “The role of hydrogen in a sustainable and secure future” is scheduled to take place on the first day of the Congress (Monday 9 September 2019) and Frank Wouters, Director of the Network is invited to moderate the discussion in which various global energy leaders will join to share their views, specifically: Dr. Alena Fargère Future Energy Leader at World Energy Council, Aqil Jamal, Chief Technologist, Carbon Management Research Center at Saudi Aramco, Dr. Klaus Bonhoff, Chief Executive Officer at Nationale Organisation Wasserstoffund Gmbh, Linda Wright, Chief Executive at New Zealand Hydrogen Association, Sam Muraki, Executive Adviser at Tokyo Gas Company Ltd., and Willi Meixner, Chief Executive Officer at Siemens Power Generation Operations, Siemens AG.
